Good snack that's better for you than Cheetos Sep 16, 2007

These are identical to Cheetos but without the cheesy coating. Instead, Robert's American Gourmet uses nutritional yeast, which allegedly adds nutritional value. Each 6 oz. bag has 900 calories, 108 g of carbs, 12 g of protein, and no vitamins or minerals. I'm not sure what the "nutritional yeast" add, but it's not clear that they add anything actually nutritional (at least according to the Nutritional Facts). However, these are a tasty and interesting alternative to Cheetos. I would recommend trying a bag before purchasing a box.

This was the first time we've had tings - a friend told us about them and since since they ended up being 2.17 per bag - we gave them a shot. My daughter has a severe milk intolerance and I have a wheat allergy - and it's rare to find something delicious that we can both have. My daughter is 2 years old and can now enjoy cheetos just like her friends - and they taste wonderful! I'm so thankful for products like these that taste good, help us feel normal, and are affordable! If I could give 6 stars I would!

These bring back childhood memories growing up in Canada. I love Old Dutch Popcorn Twists and these Tings are just like it -- only healthier, I guess.
I'm not familiar to the cheesy-poof references in the other reviews because there is no cheese associated with Tings, but maybe there just isn't a similar product to compare it to.
While proper for my personal tastes, I can forsee this being a little on the salty side for others. For those familiar with the other products from American Gourmet, I had some Chaos chips/pretzel mix and found those to be rather bland.

LOVE these crunchy corn sticks. Taste like Cheetos. Maybe even better than Cheetos. No MSG and it is vegan. My only complaint is these chips can be too salty.

My kids love these so much I have to order them by the case (plus they're hard to find in my area grocery store)... They taste a little like cheetos but don't have the cheese.... Salty and yummy. A great snack!
